Gather together tin cans, patterned paper, scissors, clothespins, glue, hanger, string, and candles. I have all of those supplies already and I bet you do as well. Crafting win! Battery LED tea lights would be a good idea too. No fire risk either but more expensive to buy in the long run.
Even if it’s something as simple as a makeup bag or lunch bag, creating something with your hands is always a fulfilling. The self-satisfaction that is associated with successfully completing a DIY project is really all that matters, so much so the value placed on it is higher. Here is another DIY that is just as gratifying—mood lighting tins!
To make this beauty, you will need cans, patterned paper, scissors, wooden clothespin, super glue, bow string, candles, and a wooden clothes hanger.
First cut the patterned paper and glue them to the cans cutting off the excess. Then cut the bow string. Cut some pieces 9 to 15-inch, to attach to the hanger at different lengths, and cut more box spring to make bows to stick on the cans.

Cover one side of the clothespins in the patterned paper, then clip them to the wooden hanger that you will nail to a wall. Attach the cans to the hanger unevenly. Then place tea lights in each can and for lighting.
