Pizza Buns

1 1/2 c warm water

1 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp yeast

1/2 tsp salt

4 – 4 1/2 c flour

In a large bowl(I do it in my stand mixer bowl) add water, sugar, yeast and combine, let it sit 8-10 mins. Stir in salt.

If using a stand mixer use your dough hook and add half the flour, gradually adding more til the dough isn’t sticking to the sides of the bowl. This will take a few mins.

Place dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover and let rise for 35-40 mins til dough has doubled in size. Divide dough into 3 equal sections. Take one section and roll out on lightly floured or greased surface (I use a little non stick spray).

Now your going to roll your dough out like your making cinnamon rolls in a rectangle shape. Start with spreading out Pizza sauce staying about a half a inch away from the ends so we can get that dough to pinch shut when we roll them up.

Next add cheese and then all your favorite pizza toppings. These ones pictured have mozza, pepperoni, red onion, bell pepper and mushrooms. This is a good way to use up all those veggies in the fridge!

Now starting at the long side roll the dough up evenly until you end up with a log. Using a sharp knife or floss cut the dough into about 1.5 inch slices and place in greased pan. Repeat these steps for the other 2 sections. When done cover and let rise about 30 mins. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 mins until golden brown
