KFC ORIGINAL SECRET CHICKEN

TOP Reviews:

I made the chicken pie in a muffin tin. That was a great idea! I bought the sore brand biscuits and used the recipe. Perfect for a brunch, lunch or add some sides for suppers! Thanks for the idea!

Absolutely excellent meal, I couldn’t say how close to KFC as we don’t get KFC that often due to cost. but this was a sure winner. My youngest finds KFC a little too spicy so I left out the chilli powder just in case but I think I could have got away with putting it in. Wasnt sure if I needed to but I also whisked the egg whites a bit. i used 2/3rds of a tbl spoon of ordinary salt as kosher is not easy to get in the UK, not where I live anyway. other than that I stuck to the recipe. I did do loads of different bits, legs, thighs, breast strips etc and I did put mine in the oven after it had 5-10 mins in the fryer, this enables you to do a lot quicker and first lot continues cooking in oven and stayed crispy.. very crispy. put it on a cake rack so any surplace oil from frying drained off. it certainly wasnt greasy. will be a definite repeat meal in our house now.

This chicken caused a large amount of anxiety in my life and was the downfall to my innocent marriage. why would you do this to me? god have mercy on my soul please never ever replicate this recipe to any onlookers IT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE.

Marion Kay Spices “Chicken Seasoning 99X” is what you’re really after. It’s the real deal. Google and read the story. M. K. Summers blended the original spice mix for Harlan Sanders when the franchise became too large for Sanders to blend it himself. Summers then added one more ingredient “X” and, after legal battles following the sale of the KFC franchise and name by Sanders, has sold it ever since. It comes in a large 22 oz canister and goes for around $22 or so and lasts a very long time. Happy KFC-ing!
