- 2 cups of flour
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 teaspo salt
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 cup of cooking oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 a cup of milk
- 1 cup of hot water
- 2 spoons of vanilla essence or chocolate essence
Preheat oven to 180°C
Soft your flour and cocoa powder
Mix all your dry ingredients
On the dry ingredients add all wet ingredients except for the hot water.
Mix well ,your batter will be stiff as there is cocoa to loosen it up add hot water.
Stir until everything is incorporated.
Do not overmix
Pour your batter on your baking pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
Stick a toothpick to see if it’s ready
If it comes out dry its ready if not then continue to bake.
