Ingredients
- 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 Cup Skim Milk
- ½ Cup Club Soda
- 2 egg whites
- 2 mashed ripe bananas
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix mash together bananas, milk, club soda, and egg. Set aside
- Sift together over banana mixture, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon
- Mix until well blended, but don’t mix too much or will be tough. Mix the batter just until all ingredients are wet.
- Pour onto hot griddle and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. Flip when bubbles are beginning to form.
- Makes 8 large pancakes or 16 small pancakes.
