1. Clean Hard Water Stains From Shower Mixer

Just spray a small amount of WD-40 on limescale that has built up on your shower mixers over time and wait for about three minutes for it to soften. Use a toothbrush to scrub away all the now loosened grime and it will all strip off.

Then buff the surface with a microfiber cloth.

2. Remove crayon marks


WD-40 is great for dissolving crayon marks from all sorts of surfaces such as countertops, walls, fabrics and so much more. Just apply some the marked surface and rub it away with a cloth. Boom! Clean.

3. Keep water stains off the glass shower doors.

Just spread some WD-40 on glass shower doors and the soapy grime and watermarks will not get a chance to build up.

First, you can just remove the excess of the label if it is not glued all around the label.

If the label is plastic-type, you con try spraying while lifting the label as it will not break. The plastic label should be easier to lift off than the paper ones.

When you have exposed the glued on an area of the label, spray it with WD-40 and leave it to soak for some time.

 Then use a sponge or scouring pad to scrub away the glue and paper residue.

5. Remove stuck rings on a finger

If for any reason a ring is on your finger and is stubborn to come off, spray some WD-40 on that finger and it will slide right off.

6. Remove ‘Paint Rub’ From Another Car

Picture this: you return to your parked car to find that while you were gone, another vehicle got a bit too close for comfort. Luckily there’s no dent, but now your car has a blotch of “paint rub” from the other car on it. To remove paint-rub stains on your car and restore its original finish, spray the affected area with WD-40, wait a few seconds, then wipe with a clean rag. 7. Keep Wasps from Building Nests

8. Prevent snow buildup on windows

During winter the snow gets onto our cars and house windows and obscure our vision of the outside and can cause an accident while driving.

9. Remove chewing gum with ease

If chewing gum gets stuck on any cloth, rag, clothes, shoes or even your carpet. Spray some WD-40 on the gum and let it spread to the base of the gum.

If there is any residue of gum you can use another rag of cloth to rub out the residue by adding a bit more WD-40 to it.

Spray WD-40 and spread it on your shoes to prevent water from seeping in during a wet season.

Not only does it create a waterproof barrier on shoes, but it will also help remove any salt stains on boots during the winter months.

Just spray onto the stains and wipe with a clean rag.

11. Limescale Remover

Remove all that limescale from your kitchen sink and face basins with just a touch of WD-40. Wet the area and it will soften in minutes, scrub away with scouring pad or toothbrush.

Note: Remember that with all these cool ideas, it is not advisable to inhale the fumes from this spray, especially as it appears in the concentrated form when it first exits the can. Cover nose if possible when using or walk away as soon as it is sprayed to prevent respiratory problems.
