6. Softening Towels
Towels after a while lose the soft feel that gives you such comfort to be wrapped in it. They get a little crunchy, which means that they may be suffering from limescale and detergent build-up.
Soaking them in a medium strength mixture of soda crystals and warm water and then rinsing them well does the trick to get out any detergent build-up of limescale. Now all you have to is wash them like normal, with just half a cup of white vinegar in the fabric conditioner drawer.
