This peach pie recipe is so simple to make. It does not require stove-top cooking and it only uses fresh peaches, no fillers made of gelatin or cornstarch. If you like the taste of pure, fresh peaches for a natural flavor, give this recipe a try. Be sure to head to your local farmer’s market for the best locally grown fruit.
10 to 12 fresh peaches, peeled and thinly sliced
1 ½ cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. butter (cut into pieces)
1 ready made pie crust (I use Pillsbury)
